Winning Stock Picks

A few weeks ago Money Philosophy thought it would be a good time to get back into the stock market game after having been out of it for a few years. Money Philosophy was immediately drawn to stocks such as GM and C (Citigroup) which had taken a huge hit since the markets fell through the floor in the fall of 2008.
The C and GM picks were extremely successful and that got him interested in looking for other stocks like them. He found a couple of microcap stocks, LJPC and CTIC, that looked like they may break through in a similar fashion. These stocks looked like bigger risks but they also seemed to have greater potential for reward.
That turned out to be correct as both LJPC and CTIC ended up being huge winners.
He decided that he may actually be onto something big with the way he was choosing these stock picks so he decided to try to build a stock screen screen which would find more penny stocks like them right before they were about to “pop” with big gains.
The reason I’m writing this article today is because his first stock pick with this new screen reached a high 40% above it’s open today and that certainly impressed me. Obviously my imagination is off and running with the huge gains I could make by following his picks.
Of course I don’t expect every pick he or anyone else makes to have this kind of gain. No way. It’s also important to remember that a gain isn’t “real” until you sell the stock. Figuring out when to get out is equally as important as deciding when to get in. The really cool thing is that he also makes a post on his blog (and on his Twitter account) when he gets out.
He doesn’t share the precise way he screens for these winning stocks as I guess he’s a little too selfish to share all of his trading secrets but he definitely shares more about what he’s actually doing on the market than most so called “gurus.”
Of course he does not tell people to trade his penny stock picks. There is really nothing to gain from that. You should always do some of your own investigating before trading.
While I understand wanting to download The Day Trading Robot or The Forex Autopilot System, I really think you will have better results just by doing what he’s doing. And the really awesome thing is that it’s completely free.
Remember: It’s definitely a good idea to make “fake trades” before you start making trades with real money when trying a new method.
